I think they used exactly the same master for the recent vinyl issue: https://discogs.descargarpelis.net/release/24431192-Heartbreakers-LAMF-The-Found-77-Masters I hear no difference at all. All instruments and vocals very nicely separated and expressive. Maybe it could be more dynamic and less compressed, but it's the best sounding version I've heard so far.

this is a phenomenal sounding and the best ever cd reissue of disc #1 to date, after 45 years THEY FINALLY GOT THE RIGHT TAPES!!!!!!!!!!!! these 77 masters sound amazing on cd finally, as for disc #2 and all the great 76/77 demos they still pretty much sound the same from other releases but you want this for disc #1!! this also comes with a killer 32 page book, also this comes in a hard book cover style case wich is great!!!! this was one of the last records ever released by the whos track records in 1977 before they went under............i got the lp for rsd last june but as always i feel you get more bang for your buck when you get all this great bonus stuff on bonus discs like this set gives you, the discs where pressed in poland & the rest in the uk......the only other cd version that is almost this good is the jungle 4 cd release from 2012 with the buttons and all as that is loaded w/ heartbreakers rehersals , demos and live stuff from 75/76 w/ richard hell............
