Edited 5 years agoMinimal but very well programmed & full of ideas, Instrumentals is the simplest way to understand why Mouse on Mars has such a special groove, one of my favorite from them :) -

Considering how long it is (almost a full half hour on side A) it's a pretty nice sounding record, bass and stereo separation don't seem to suffer at all. Also one reason it's an ideal LP to put on around sleepytime, along with its great floaty vibe and tunes.

Edited 13 years agoDecent album. Sort of a companion to Autoditacker; it includes tracks with a similar feel, but longer and more mellow. They're also not quite as memorable, unfortunately. This album is more about texture and ambiance. 3.5 / 5
