Sound Improvement

Polish label founded in 1999 in Poznań by Tomasz Szwałek.
In the initial phase of its activity, Sound Improvement released licensed music mainly on cassette tapes (and a few CDs). Later, Sound Improvement released music on CDs.
Sound Improvement released cassettes and CDs under license from such labels as:
Thrill Jockey, Sonig, Mille Plateaux, Drag City, Too Pure, Domino and many more.
Label Sound Improvement was created in cooperation with Outside Media .
The first and second cassette released by Sound Improvement has a note "Manufactured and distributed in Poland by Sound Improvement, a division of Outside Media".
Cassettes and records were sold in good music stores and were sold by mail order (xero catalog). The Sound Improvement xero Catalog was also included in the Outside Media Catalog.
From the third catalog number, the label became an independent publisher and was part of the Isound Labels , Isound project.
There was an inscription on the covers "Manufactured and distributed in Poland by Sound Improvement, a division of Isound Labels".
