Melk Weg Side... what does it mean?
Seriously tho, great release with wicked Acid lines and Art of Noise vibes.
Love it! -
The acid noise on Move Your Assit sounds like it was taken from Lidell Townsell - The Groove, rearranged and looped. I don't think it was originally programmed on here as such. Whatever the case, it caused mayhem on the dancefloor when that wall of sound bassline, also possibly sampled, kicked in with it. DJ Hype formerly of Fantasy FM and various other pirate radio stations used to cut and scratch the granny out of it to extreme levels.
New Beats The House was also dropped at the warehouse parties which created a more hypnotic, trippy mood. The previous reviewer is correct. The Kraftwerk, Electro and Acid House (subtle) is a nice combination which I always found interesting. Unfortunately, not enough of this hybrid style occurred back then because it sounds natural and effortless. -
What more can I say. "New Beats The House" - Love Electro style from Kraftwerk and love Acid House. Best marriage made in heaven. And "Move Your Assit" is also killer too!
-
New Beats the House is sampladelia of Kraftwerk, Ian Mcshane on Grace Jones - the Princess & the frog, various other samples..
