The Remix version that is present on Various - The Bigshot Mixes sound like a totally different tune.

Disclaimer: Any similarity between "I Like It (Blow Out Dub)" [1989] and Inner City's "Good Life" [1988] is purely coincidental.
Also, no animals were harmed in the making of this song. -
These black labels were difficult to get clear. i did manage it though also with come get my loving (remix). Youtube shut me down due to copyright. Because a promo I was asked to promote years ago.

Seminal classic , I'm surprised it sells for so low , incredible release. anyone should buy it , a piece of electronic music history.

Edited 2 years agoI am not sure if you can actually make a tune better than the "Blow Out Dub", it is one of the all time seminal dance tracks, that synth riff & the deepest of basslines, sounds so simply but so effective, & yes has to be played loud. I never seem to get bored of this track, it brings back so many happy memories as I am sure it does for many others. Big Hacienda track, a true classic, sampled so many times, its perfection.

What to say? What a classic. Right at the tranced out heart of the UK house scene. Became a core part of many people's experiences of what means something in life on earth!
I think I the Blowout dub from before the time stated here, and I am probably right, in clubs on whites.
Am I right that this was played as early as very late summer 89 in UK in clubs & fields, although it wasn't released here till 90?

If this tune wasn't being played on your Pirate Radio Station in the London Area in 1989 or soon after, then you were listening to the wrong station. This was, is and will always be awesome!

Middle of the road track, but the Blow Out Dub blows your mind and your woofers. Piano hook is the best hook ever heard. Sheer bliss.
