Edited 8 months agoA beautiful pressing of a stone-cold classic. Richard James did such an excellent job of recreating this, placing entire tracks on one side at 33 RPM -- when played on the right system these songs create a sonic boom. I used to play this in the clubs in 1999 when this Rephlex version first came out and it would shatter windows and blow minds even being over a decade old at the time, and as I revisit it here in 2024 the album still holds all the bowel-quaking power it had back in 1988 when it first released. One of the most essential acid house releases in history, and this is the pressing you want.
