This track still goes hard even after all these years.

This is pure Sasha early 90s tune. The essence of the Renaissance mix right here!

Love this track, total classic on a label full of classics (Limbo). Got a query though if anyone can give any more info on this. The standard Limbo release (LIMBO 007) Euro Mix has elements of 'Tears for Fears - Change', not exactly the same but maybe, for example, the sample has been chopped up.
There's an Italian release of Ethnic Prayer which also includes the Euro Mix:
          https://discogs.descargarpelis.net/release/108021-Havana-Ethnic-Prayer
...but this has the full 'Tears for Fears - Change' melody or is a straight sample. Also, the arrangement of the Euro Mix on the Italian release is noticeably different and is slightly longer.
So my question is, does anyone know of another earlier Limbo release, for example a demo 12", which has the full sample in? All i can think of is that they might have changed it to avoid paying royalties or so they didn't get prosecuted for copyright infringement. Which does happen, usually there's a white label with full samples then the commercial release is slightly different to avoid the issues i've just mentioned. Cheers, Mikey.

Great track all the mixes on the 12" are worth a listen, but for me I would go for the "Euro Mix", from the moment the synth drops you know its going to be a big tune and it doesn't disappoint. The "Doggie Style Dub" is in a similar vein the the "Euro Mix", but the "Transacid Mix" follows more of a trance vibe which again is a very solid mix. Have a listen & take your pick.

I could call both of those millenium mixes EP's no less than gorgeous. Mea Culpa is a work of art and a perfectly orchestrated slice of epic trance which makes it subtle at times and still pretty banging. CL Mc Spadden is no less than excellent as well still doesn't capture the magic of the A Side. Be sure to grab the other millenium EP which features no less than Christian Parkison aka West on remix duties. I got those two for close to nothing and willing to keep them forever. Pure magic.

CLASSIC TRACK! the Euro mix from the old school SF Bay Area rave days of the early 1990's
Samples the song "Change" from Tears for Fears.

The Transacid mix has a bit of the early proto goa sound. Very nice track.

Having heard it far too many times in other tracks, I have to it that Havana used, with great effect, the BELL/CHIME sample from "Change" by Tears For Fears. Melodic sweeps, a dirty acid-washed synth and a gated male vocal push this excellent progressive trance track along nicely.
