192-kHz is at least 10x the frequency response of an middle-aged adult's hearing range, and 24-Bits can have a 120+ dB dynamic range which matches the limits of an adult's hearing range. On the other hand, LP's are commonly reported as having 20-kHz and 70 dB upper limits. Don't get me wrong, I love my LPs (well, most of them), including of this album.
I propose that there's more going on behind the scenes with 192k/24b releases (i.e., it's not wasted frequency). There's a plethora of minutiae details contained in 192-kHz (such as phasing and amplitudes) that are captured in the master tapes and can end up being audible as a holographic or 3D soundstage, such as this Qobuz release.
Well, I got a bit carried away by the sound of this one .... sorry for preaching to the choir.
BTW, Mr. Grundman did such a great job mastering this is 1986 there has been no need to remaster this album. -

Beautifully mastered Alsdorf pressing from 1986. I this LP being used as a prop in photos in adverts for high-end turntables at the time. It looks and sounds gorgeous. Four mid-length tracks per side, so plenty of space for the grooves to 'breathe'. -

This is one of the best sounding records I’ve ever heard, on my or any system! The soundstage is truly spectacular. Details just swing around you! I played bass in an R&B band for a few years, played a bunch of these tunes more times than I can and thought I knew them in detail, but wow there is so much more in there than I realized!! My $1 sale copy is nearly perfectly flat and silent. Grab it if you see it! -

I think this re-issue sounds great - good dynamics throughout. The masterpiece that is 'Sweet Love' just sounds superb.
