Sony Music Entertainment Finland Oy

Previous operations of Sony Music in Finland had been as followed:
1976 - 1990: CBS Records OY
1991 - 2004: Sony Music Entertainment (Finland) Oy
2005 - 2008: Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Finland) Oy

The current name was used since 2009.
In 2008 after Sony bought BMG, the company was renamed to Sony Music Entertainment Finland Oy in January 2009. Before the new company name was taken to use, the old name Sony Music Entertainment (Finland) Oy was briefly used for a short period of time.

The catalogue of BMG Finland Oy is also incorporated into Sony Music's new Finnish operations.
