I once saw the 4 times in 8 days...
Just had a look at the TISM discography and I'm ashamed/proud that I've got all of them and a bit more - they released a few extra tracks on iTunes a few years ago. Mostly not that interesting. -

I think I've got most of their stuff on CD (including most singles), with the Form and Meaning EP and Great Truckin' Songs on wax. I wish I'd bothered to invest in their 7" singles back in the day.
Saw them maybe half a dozen times between '89 and '98 or so. Their stuff still holds up pretty well. Hot Dogma a very underrated album IMHO. -

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes, count me in! These guys were my jam back in my Uni days, although I never got to see them live. Clever, cringeworthy and insanely musical all at the same time - what's not to love? Hard to believe it's been nearly twenty years since their last show...
I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the "new" TISM releases: "Punt Road" and "This Is Serious Mum". Not new material, unfortunately, but some TISM goodness nevertheless. I've had them on pre-order for two months now, and it looks like they're finally going to arrive next week (damn vinyl manufacturing issues stuffed up the delivery timeframes for everyone else). -

All the new TISM stuff arrived with me today, also after a 2 month preorder wait. My copy of the This Is Serious Mum LP has a mild dish-warp, which I'm not too happy about, but the Punt Road LP is killer! -

New sub time noise-x-change, go for it!
Sorry to hear about the "This Is Serious Mum" LP. I did hear from Vicious Threads (the "official" TISM store, apparently) that there were issues with a faulty stamper which delayed the manufacturing of the vinyl releases. Maybe send it back for an exchange or refund?
Hoping my CDs will arrive today. -

Actually, looks like the subs are already in:
This Is Serious Mum* - This Is Serious Mum
Not sure about the 2021 re-release of "This Is Serious Mum" going under the Master Release for This Is Serious Mum* - This Is Serious Mum. Just wondering whether a new Master Release would have been more appropriate. -

Yeah I was aware of the stamper issue they encountered which apparently had a rotation noise in the run-in groove.
I'm pretty impressed with the overall quality of both the cut (Lawrie @ Curvepusher in London) and the pressing itself (dish-warp aside) from I think Program Records in Melbourne. Sleeves are fantastic too. I'll be interested to see what else they have planned for vinyl issues (or reissues).
Also I think putting these new versions of the original demo tape under the same MR is appropriate. -

Woo hoo, the CDs of "Punt Road" and "This Is Serious Mum" arrived this afternoon! And I lucked into the bonus releases too ("Punt Road Raw" and the re-issued cassette of "This Is Serious Mum"). Very happy camper here :)
Now I just need them to re-form and put out some new new material, and I'll be even happier! -

Any suggestions on how I can rip the hidden pre-gap Track 0 of the TISM - This Is Serious Mum CD with my CD ripper? I like to digitise my CD collection, but when I put this CD in my computer it only shows 11 tracks (ie. Tracks 1-10 and the hidden Track 11), and not Track 0. -

All sorted. GWG yielded various solutions, and I ended up going with range-based ripping in EAC. Seems to have done the trick...
