Shipping costs for sales of more than $100 include insurance. This is why they may appear to be high.

I package my records in good quality record mailers. I ship records within three days of payment, but if for some reason this isn't possible, I will let you know.

I ship using Australia Post standard for all shipping - in Australia and overseas - unless agreed otherwise. This includes tracking.

Overseas buyers should note that I do not offer a low cost shipping option because getting the package under the lowest cost weight (0.5kg) is rarely possible for LPs without compromising the packaging and risking damage to the record. On the upside, buying a second record generally won't increase the postage cost. Due to changes in policy at Australia Post, there is now no low cost option for sending singles overseas; they have to be dealt with as parcels. If you are overseas and want to buy a single, I will adjust the postage cost downwards, so please do not pay at the time you place the order.

I will not reduce the value of records on Customs forms or the like. It is your responsibility to understand whether customs duties are applicable on records imported into your country, as they are not ed for by Discogs. These duties can add as much as 25% to the cost of a record and must be paid before records are released from customs.

With overseas shipping, please note that the Australia Post tracking system will lose sight of your package while it clears through customs in your country. It should then reappear in the tracking system for whichever postal service is Australia Post's partner agency in your country. You can find this out by searching the Australia Post website, but the default will generally be your country's national postal service.
