Well, have to include this one in my list of all time favourite live albums. What more could you expect? A stunning performance, the mix being debated but I like it, as I do like George Marino's mastering and the quality of this German pressing. A live killer, indeed.

Edited 5 years agoMany Queen fans complain, that this album has been edited together from various sources etc. Or that tracks like "Keep yourself alive" have been speeded up a semitone in the studio. But besides, this album shows exactly, what that tour was like. The crowd in would sing along to most every song, not only the obvious ones. "Spread your Wings" was amazing. So were the frequent calls for "Mustapha", which they hadn't expected and not rehearsed. But the excitement is documented here. This recording has some "rough" moments compared to the perfect studio recordings, but that was how they sounded around 1979.
The pressing quality of the original first german release was perfect as it was with all German EMI releases in those days. As this album was created from different sources, the recording quality varies with moments of enormous tape hiss.
