It irked me that I own an Epic pressing in poor condition. So I purchased this reissue and am very pleased with the replacement LP's quality and sound. Frankly...I'm also quite relieved!

Very pleased with this re-issue. I had an original press but it wasn't in the best condition so I bought this re-press from my local record store and I'm very impressed with how great it sounds.

I'm not even near of being an audiophile but I did definitely hear things I wasn't able to hear on any digital versions of this timeless Michael Jackson classic. The pressing is phenomenal, dynamic and dead silent from start to end, even on all transitions you can't hear a single pop or static. I highly recommend changing the paper sleeve to a poly lined sleeve if you wanna keep this amazing quality forever.

This 180 gram pressing sounded amazing to me. Before playing, I cleaned the vinyl and moved it from the paper inner to a poly lined sleeve for protection against static and scratches. From an audio standpoint, it sounds awesome. Flat and quiet with no surface noise. The gatefold is true to the 1979 original release. To obtain the best audio results, calibrate your turntable’s tone arm. Avoid those cheap suitcase 🧳 players. Play on a real turntable!!

This pressing is alright. I don’t really have any complaints, it’s pretty vibrant, but it also doesn’t have any qualities that make it amazing. It sounds almost exactly the same as the digital version. I’ll still listen to it and use it, but some audiophiles may not prefer this pressing over the others.
