Prefab Sprout – Prefab Sprout Mixes

Well you must already like this album as much as I do or you wouldn't be reading this now would you? Lol. So apparently I was the 3rd person ever to purchase this on discogs (as of the time of this writing, purchased it January 2021 for $50). If you are wondering whether it is worth the money (obviously depending on what you are personally willing to shell out for it) in my opinion you will not feel let down or that it was a waste of money. They are unmastered alternative mixes and while pretty faithful to the album versions they have much more of a basic studio session feel to them giving the vocals a more " live "feel as well. Everything is just shy of that final studio polish. Anyways, compared to so many crappy demos filling up so many reissues that only bear listening to once , instead this will be played as much as the regular album round my home, so yeah , this was definitely worth the $50 I paid. Highly recommended , again , from a genuine irer of this album.
