What can be said about Hamilton that hasn’t been said by other but WOW the whole performance is amazing, catchy and accessible for all ages and tastes
-
This musical is amazing. I don’t like musicals at all and I really liked this one. Specially the first 2 disc are amazing (the first act).
-
It’s alright at best. The songs themself are amazing but the quality of the records are questionable. Act II side G + H are super messed up for me and skip a ton. But honestly it is like they put on a live performance in your room and it’s pretty awesome
-
Mine has a "made in Czech Republic" sticker on the back, any one else got it too?
Might be a reissue that isn't on Discogs yet -
Can't believe how good this box set is. They basically play a live show in front of you in your room if you've got the system for it.

Edited 3 years agoGreat box set in every way. Sound is- well let me just ask: do you want the original cast to sing and rap in your living room? Get one.
Yes, excellent separation and clarity. Good range from high to lows and rich textures and harmony. Flat, quiet pressings. Nice work on the printing and packaging. Worth the price of ission and more. Light years beyond every other audio or video recording I've experienced of this. Beaten only by the real play.... -
Edited 3 years agoawful pressing. came scratched and with a broken sleeve. bought it around 2018 and havent opened it until now. absolutely not worth the money. obviously rushed in production to keep up with hype.

Edited 4 years agoBarnes and Nobles still has them. Ordered and delivered in a few days. Overall, very nice package. Box is solid, book is is thin but nice printing quality. It's basically the lyrics. Records are about 140-150 so nothing great, but expected. The pressings themselves are very good. I don't know the lineage of it, but the quality is good. Sound seems full spectrum, lots of lows and good separation. My wife and daughter listened to it straight through last night and enjoyed it. I thought it sounded good too and I'm very particular on sound quality. No complaints, worth the $80 paid.
Played with VPI Prime (JMW memorial tonearm), Hana SL, McIntosh c49, McIntosh MC152 Dynaudio Evoke 20 bookshelves, PSB sub.
