This release on Juno and Beatport appears to have been removed as it looks like the label re-issued it again in 2016 a year later with the same amount of 24 tracks but in a different order.
The cat# for that is BCD 2016385 (currently only a wav format has been inputted into the Discogs database, 4 days ago infact!). -
Edited 8 years agoFirst of all, 5 Stars simply for having EVERY SINGLE MIX on one release. I don't think anything has been left off.
Next, 5 Stars for the simply beautiful new "Eyem Not So Evident" remix. I've got to be honest, I have no idea who this remixer is. No info online, the only Google links are to Juno, Beatport, Youtube videos and of course here on Discogs.
The sheer quality of production tells me it could be someone well known (or a new producer with incredible skill).
Either way, this is a deep, hypnotic take on the '93 classic. It could not be further removed from the insanity of the original mix!
All that remains is that angelic melody, beautifully married to a soft, minimal backing. It's kinda like Trentemøller in vibe. It's a bit James Holden (circa 2004) in feeling. It reminds me a lot of that mid-2000 sound that was lush, warm and very mysterious.
Definitely worth a listen. You won't be disappointed.
