Anyone know the difference between Peter Mew’s 2000 and Miles Showell’s 2015 masterings, thanks.

Inconsistent.
Some of the tracks are unlistenably bright with anemic sounding bass, some of them are mastered very loud, some of them sound pretty dang good. The early tracks suffer the worst-- She Loves You is compressed to the point that it looks near ruler flat (but not hard limited-- each individual peak retains its shape, the max level is just identical) but then there's a little unused (wasted?) headroom, which stands out from every track before and after. By the time you get to Come Together things are sounding decently dynamic and the bass is as strong as it should be.

You'd probably be better off just buying individual albums rather than a compilation like this; even if the mixing and mastering of songs from such disparate periods in such a prolific band's history could be made to sound good next to each other, the music isn't self-similar enough to make a cohesive whole and you'll probably just want to pick out your favorite tracks instead of listening from front to back.
