Notes

Presswell pressing, identified by distinct "two-step" label pressing ring configuration. Original red/plum "black fan" labels.
Label and cover both show "Aretha White" as co-writer of B1.
Album title on labels is spaced differently than I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You.

All Selections were recorded at Atlantic Studios in New York except I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You) & Do Right Woman-Do Right Man, which were recorded in Muscle Shoals, Ala.

"W" etch in runouts indicates that the lacquer blank used to cut the master disc was made by Audiodisc.

What an absolutely fantastic sounding issue. I’ve never heard an original mono issue sound this good before. It’s on par with my VMP issue sound-quality wise, maybe even slightly better.

Wish I had a better copy but this Mono version is astounding. Night and day between this and a stereo version.

Aretha Franklin - "I Never Loved A Man The Way I Love You"
        (Atlantic Records) – (March 10, 1967)
