What an absolutely fantastic sounding issue. I’ve never heard an original mono issue sound this good before. It’s on par with my VMP issue sound-quality wise, maybe even slightly better.

Wish I had a better copy but this Mono version is astounding. Night and day between this and a stereo version.

Fue el debut de Aretha Franklin en el sello Atlantic y el comienzo de la leyenda.
Aretha venía de 6 años y nueve álbumes para el sello Columbia, cantando standars y sin haber obtenido demasiada repercusión.
Jerry Wexler fue el encargado de producir a la nueva Aretha.
