I know for a fact this was released in 2000, versus its current status of 2001. Id been buying jungle vinyl for about a year, but was hosting a NYE party 2000/2001 and wanted to play some more accessible stuff to impress a girl at the time. Went into Housewares on Haight n Central n copped a good stack of deep+funky house n techno from 2000, and this was put in my hand by an associate working the counter. I recognized Miguel Migs name from some flyers (17 at the time, so no legal club events but I was hoarding Skills/F8 flyers like a mofo) and coupled with the boobies (17 at the time, so no legal real puss but I was hoarding Hustlers/Genesis/Fox mags like a mofo) twas an insta-buy. Probably 2nd week in December 2000, and I do the clerk saying it JUST got released. Timeless stuff here, and shame on those represses to not have the iconographic gorgeous women featured, so sayeth both my 41yr old grouchy misanthropic ass AND my misspent youth 17yr old wanksta DJ-origins time-dilatin' ass.
