Edited one month agoThis is an average pressing as all of these USA apple pressings are, sounds just like an OG USA pressing. It does the job, but there’s no reason to spend over $40mon this you are so much better off with another countries pressing or the new pressings.
I certainly had an old copy with the speed issues folks spoke of below, replaced it.

I’ve got variant 1 and I def have some speed issues on the title track, and some stuff on side 3. Otherwise it sounds pretty nothing aside from that

I believe Variant #2 of this listing is a defective pressing with a faulty Side 3 lacquer. The second half of Side 3 has speed issues with pitch wavering significantly on the title track C5. My copy has this problem and matches up with Variant #2's matrix numbers. There are a few other reports of this speed problem on the internet so a small number of these must have ed quality control.
Anybody else have a similar copy?
