Anyone know if pre-release versions of this were playing in some clubs / raves as early as late summer to early autumn 88?
(Sometimes the labels used to seed out copies of tracks they were considering releasing in what was to them this new world of underground dance music. They wanted the reactions from the clubbers, to see if a track would take off before they would file it for commercial release.)
