I don't usually pay as much as I did for this for any LP's, but after hearing a CD copy of this I found this "authorized" issue. It is indeed very well done. Vinyl was pretty much flawless and sounds great. I listened through my Senn 600's and was very pleased. I'm sure it's a needle drop but definitely sourced from a very ,very nice copy. In fact the only track I heard any pops was Side2 Track 2. The rest sounds fantastic. The material stands above most of the super yank "lost heavy classics" i.e. Little Free Rock, Elias Hulk, Leafhound..you know the rest. I don't have any of those anymore. And it seems some $ may go back to Jeff and whoever else is still around..hopefully. If you can score it for a decent price, get it.

It's a really nice record, music-wise, but in answer to the guy below - it is digitally sourced. I actively avoid digital sourcing, and this is one of two digitally sourced records I own. The other is a Paranoid reissue, but the truth is, both sound fine. Neither has that shimmering magic one finds on a RL/Monarch LZII or the Bowie UK firsts from that Trident studios period (what a great sounding board that Neve was!), but neither is the digital sourcing distracting in any way.
No doubt, the original Bell's sound better to the discerning ear, but they are hard to find and expensive. More important than this source or that source or this press or that press is the music itself. Great music is what it's all about. I go to great lengths in pursuit of ultimate pressings (as one quick look at my collection will show), but only if the music merits this pursuit. Otherwise, what's the point? You're polishing a turd.
IMO, this is a really nice record, and I'm looking to pick up a period Bell copy. In the meantime, I'm really happy to have this. Plus, the guy who wrote all this stuff is still alive, so he gets a little dosh from these repressings (and he likely needs it!).
Pick up a copy, it's a nice record and $ well spent. -
This is a Czech GZ pressing and that usually means under par quality. This is an exception from my usual bashing regarding the products from these Czech jokers. There's no info regarding who did the master cutting but it has been done properly, balanced and as good as possible given the circumstances (the master source is unknown, could be an original vinyl LP used as source). The record comes out flawless from the poly lined inner which is a first for me when it comes to the quality that GZ usually present. The artwork is a straight up scan from an original copy but this info is noted on the back of sleeve. Music plays nice and well worth buying for the cheer enjoyment of this lost gem. Impressed.

This hidden gem is so well made. Early Hard Rock with 1971 vibes...many try to copy this today but this is the real thing. Pitty they only made one record...would have loved to hear more.
