It's great, but the original 64/65 full length version is much better, long intro, so long I thought it was an instrumental, the verses, that right on organ solo, woo-wee,
and the searing voice at the end. Clocking in at around 4 and a half minutes long it's sheer soul pleasure. Only saw it on the Old Gold CD 'In The Midnight Hour' double Cd from the 80's, which I had pinched. I'd get the desk again just for this version.

This is definitely one of the finest northern soul stompers in music history, and a killer vocal performance by Gloria Jones. Forget Soft Cell, thé version was recorded twenty years earlier. 6/5 rated record!
