Edited one year agoLush, rich, and full of hidden details I never heard on my cd from the 80s. Low noise floor with a highly transparent 3d soundstage...George's vocals soar with zero sibilance. I have owned an og US pressing and this pressing puts it to shame sonically.

Excellent SQ and packaging on this release - some sibilance which can be annoying, however it is inherent in the recording.

Wow!!! This vinyl copy sounds amazing, I’ve heard the original uk and USA pressings and this one seems to be offer more clarity in the depth of the sonics with tight and focused bass presence, best evidenced on songs like father figure and hard day. However this album does sound at its best on the original japan cd which offers a much more improved dynamic range and the volume of I Want Your Sex isn’t compromised the way it is on the vinyl release as they have had to compress it for time constraints and thus it feels abit lifeless on the vinyl when compared to the cd but that’s just a minor gripe I have being a major fan of that song.
