My copy of this is a bit noisy. Most of the time, the music is pretty loud, so you don't really hear the static, but it's there in the quieter ages. I also have TransAtlantic (2) - Kaleidoscope, which is much better in that respect. But this is the only way to get the bonus disc with the covers, which is definitely worth it. I'm pretty sure these guys would play anything they wanted to.

I have the green vinyl box set issued by Radiant Records (Neal's label), not sure who pressed/mastered it.....But the SQ is not great, I suspect your versions are cut/pressed by Optimal Media which is why they sound excellent.

I thought I was getting the green one... but I am still really pleased with this! The packaging is superb and beautifully done! The sound quality is outstanding on any turn table I played it on. This I feel has the best elements of Bridge and Whirlwind put together. (I want to get Whirlwind next though). I still have yet to listen to the bonus cover LP but I love the songs on here so much! I highly recommend this to all music, prog, rock, vinyl fans.
