I've had this LP on "repeat" a fair bit in the past month. Glad to have it on vinyl after streaming it for years. I would contend that this is a good pressing and worth getting. Clean, pretty clear and dynamic - the trifecta. I woke up early this morning just so that I could hear the dynamics and punch of Hell to Pay and Blood from a Stone. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Hello. The recording on the album was made according to the so-called modern standards when you hear mainly high and low frequencies, a complete failure at a frequency of 1000 hz. where music should sound, modern recording engineers need to learn from the masters of the 70-80 years, in general, the sound is flat and not interesting

Top album in every aspect, every tracks is a perfect mix of rock/hard rock/progressive rock, Don Airey is absolutely superb, Ian Paice did one of his best performances, the voice of Ian Gillan is always elegant and precise. The album is "easy-listening" in the best meaning of the words, some riffs and rhythms will fix their self in your mind immediately, the best tracks imo are the opening "A Simple Song", "Out Of Hand", "Hell To Pay", "Above And Beyond" (dedicated to Jon Lord, probably the masterpiece of this album), "Uncommon Man", "Vincent Price" (probably the most hard-rock track of the album). I have the vinyl version, great mastering by the genius of Bob Ezrin, no background noise during playing, top quality! Buy this album, so underrated and still at a decent price.
