Edited 6 months agoA genre bending album if ever there was one. The Fat Of The Land effortlessly blends techno, metal, electronica and industrial with ease. Too few albums like this in the world. The extra CD of remixes were...okay. Like previous reviewers, I would have liked seeing some harder to find remixes from various OOP singles and other rarities. As it is, still an excellent album that's in my Top 10.
-
IMHO this is actually great expanded release, but 2nd CD should not be The Added Fat EP. 2nd CD could have some other mixes and versions of the tracks and singles from this album like "Firestarter (Empirion Mix)", "Smack My Bitch Up (DJ Hype Remix)" or even "Mindfields (Monkey Mafia Mix)" and many others. Otherwise, as The Prodigy fan, I would recommend this release only if you are fan of expanded albums, but I normally would recommend the original edition of the album.

Such a shame even this doesn't includes the Monkey Mafia's "Minefields" or Dirtchamber's "Diesel Power".Wouldn't touch the "Added" CD with a barge pole.
