Although obviously this is a very early pressing I think the very first UK stereo issue came in the laminated triple fold flip-back MONO sleeve with an added <STEREO> stamp in red ink directly above the individual photo of Paul Simon on the reverse. The matrix numbers were the same as for the version listed here but the labels were more fully textured (i.e. without the wider smooth band around the edge of the labels as it looks like here). It seems the width of the rough texture of the labels became less and less through the mid to late 60's until they became completely smooth by 1969.
