Incredible record. For their last recording of the trilogy, you have a group of songs that is far more varied than the previous LP's, though all three are master strokes in aggressive, mean-spirited death metal. The riffs stand out, are dare I say even "hooky", and the production is immaculate. For a group of older guys (one of whom turned 50 the month the album came out), they have pinned down a sound that honestly makes a lot of other death metal bands sound silly and juvenile.
