Both Sacrifice CDs (Torment In Fire and Forward To Termination) from Fringe Product uses pre-emphasis as a noise reduction technique for audio CDs, which makes the treble sounding much brighter than usual if you're playing it on a CD player without the ability to de-emphasis the audio or doing straight CD rips on your computer.
