"IAM" is a machine-stamped triangle on vinyl records that indicates the record was pressed in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The initials stand for the International Association of Machinists, the union that worked at the Capitol Records plant in Scranton.
Black label with "rainbow" colorband, without "subsidiary" rim text. BMI credit after every song on label.
With 24-page book bound to center of gatefold.
"All side-one selections are published by Comet Music Corp., ASCAP
All side-two selections are published by Maclen Music, Inc., BMI" on left inside gatefold.
Original issue has ("No You're Not" said Little Nicola) under the "I Am The Walrus" title inside the gatefold sleeve in block print and not cursive as in later issues.
This version of Magical Mystery Tour is pressed by Scranton, without "subsidiary" rim text, BMI credit after every song.
Left inside cover has Capitol-EMI logo under "2835" catalogue number.
