I think this pressing sounds great. No pops or clicks that I noticed and, as mentioned by others, Mk.gee’s intentionally distorted sound shouldn’t be mistaken for defects in the sound quality or pressing. Having said this, I found that I wanted to listen to the album at a fairly decent volume in order to appreciate it fully. My copy is not perfectly flat, but near enough. Overall I’m happy with it.

Music sounds great on this pressing. There’s lots of intentional sibilance and distortion effects on the recorded songs themselves so it’s hard to tell what’s on the track vs. pressing issues, but there wasn’t anything glaring like non-fill or skips. I tested my copy on a couple different turntables. The first setup had a basic elliptical cartridge from LP Gear, and surface noise was negligible and everything sounded great. My second setup has a Nagaoka MP110 cartridge which is more sensitive and made the surface noise a little more prominent, but nothing that distracted from the music. There were some initial pops, but after a wet clean (I use a vinyl vac) and a wave of an arc lighter (same thing as anti-static gun) those louder pops went away. TLDR: Music sounds great but there’s some slight surface noise that doesn’t detract from the music. Give it a proper clean.

Can confirm that at the Paris show they were selling it at the merch stand. I was able to get a copy and I had probably around 50 people in front of me.

I asked the merch guy about this at the show last night and he said that the records themselves are already made but the packaging needed to be redone as there were quality control issues.
