Edited 12 years agoIf you are die-hard fan you should not be without this one, though I would say get the DVD version, because visually it is more entertaining and rewarding than just listening to the audio. To the others I would heartily recommend excellent Live In Europe set instead.
The performance here feels very raw, under-rehearsed and Neal Morse struggles and strains his voice most of the time.
Also, CD and DVD contain different performances (or CD version was edited after-the-fact, which I doubt), for example, compare Pete's vocal performance of "The Great Escape" during the final medley: on DVD he begins in wrong tonality then forgets some of the lyrics, while on the CD he sounds perfectly in tune and does not make any mistakes.
All in all, true fan would want to get both versions!
