This is identical to the 10th anniversary edition of this album, which in turn featured the same old CD master from 2001. No remastering to be found here.

This digital remaster sounds great. The clarity, dynamics, and mix are perfect. This can be played very loud since there's no ear daggers or boomy bass to contend with. I probably play this much louder than I should.
With Steven Wilson on board Opeth delivered a masterpiece of death metal.
