    this does sound pretty horrible.

Played the last Avenged Sevenfold album and then immediately this. Night and day difference (sure, the a7x has more sonic variety anyway but i'm ing for this too); with this PJ album It's like the sound ran back into the speakers , afraid to come out again

For me it's the best Pearl Jam Album since Riot Act.

The Sound is okay and the Pressing is very good. The Packaging with the Booklet and the Stickers are Beautiful. I like the Cover Design very much. The Cover is a little bit to small, like all the other Czech Releases.

It's really not a bad sounding Record, but i agree, with some Comments, you can do the Mastering much better. This Record sounds better on the Headphones as on the Speakers :(. In my Opinion, an average Pearl Jam Sonic. Pearl Jam was never an Audiophile Recording Band. An the best Sounding Records, are 22 years ago.

Feels a bit of a jip these days that major labels aren't handing out codes when purchasing plastic.

I think this is a Pallas copy although it has Made In Czech sticker on it. Having said that I was hoping it sounded great like all other Pallas pressed LPs. It sounds awful. It sounded muffled. Like some put a blanket on the speakers.

I then played this on tidal. It sounds better. Bitterly disappointed. I heard this is a return to form. Well they should get a different engineer to do the mastering and mixing.

          Awful sounding LP.

          Sound 2/10.

Gave it an ultrasonic clean. Sound quality improvement to 4/10.

Cool album but have to agree not the best sounding vinyl. Have to add that the album cover is awful quality. Too small and made of thick cardboard that definitively will damage the record every time you have to force the record in it.

              Sounds terribly!!!!
              It’s hard to listen to.
The worst recorded record of PJ

EDIT: Alright... I'm walking back on my "compression ain't that bad" sentiment below. It's certainly not as bad as some make it out to be, but I just listened to this back-to-back-to-back with Binaural and then Vs. (both OG pressings) and the difference is palpable. PJ is usually compressed like everything back then, and it is, but the new album is far moreso. Listenable absolutely, but I can understand why so many are as bothered as they are.

**REALLY wish they'd recorded this in the binaural fashion again. Could have made all the difference to the album on the whole.

Sounds great. Artwork and jacket / liner vibes reminiscent of Binaural.
This album is growing on me. A lot more than the previous couple. As a PJ *ALBUM* this is the strongest in many years.
Pressing is flat and dead quiet. Compressed? Yes; it's a PJ album. Overly so? Not at all. Sounds great. And I'm picky.

The compression comments are way over exaggerated. So what if this album has some compression, such as most modern music the last 20 years.

With that said, the album kicks ass and a return to form for the band. Much better than Gigaton or Lightning Bolt. Jacket and booklet are high quality with some stickers you can put on the label if your heart desires. Glad I purchased and didn’t listen to the comments.

Pearl Jam is here to stay. Turn it up!!

Man so disappointing I’m in shock how it could be this quality music could sound so horribly mixed and mastered on lp. Packaging a lovely thing. No crackle… nice pressing
Must it i didnt notice on the streaming version. One to return its a big crime at Death Magnetic level of compression!

I think the best sounding part of the record is that bit at the end of Waiting For Stevie. I want the entire record to sound that good! #SayNoToCompression :)
