First press stereo mix sounds excellent. Can't speak for the mono, but this may be worth hunting down if you prefer stereo, unlike other sixties rock that sounds better in mono.

I'm struggling to find a white label boxed decca version SKL4786 with a matrix I can't find in any of the stereo releases.

Driving me mad now lol. -
How come no one is mentioning the remarkable Venezulian vinyl issue with its unique picture sleeve !

Edited 11 years agoI am unsure if this is the place to ask an important question about this album or if I should ask this in a forum, but I've looked at all of the UK Mono Versions of Aftermath and have not found a Master Release for the Miss-pressed "Shadowed" Jacket aka Purple Shadowed sleeve. I do know that this was an extremely limited Robert Stace (?) jacket which was only distributed for 3 weeks after the initial release of the album and generally housed the 1A/3B matrixes vinyl LP. If anyone can suggest where this particular album is listed (I may not have noticed, but I did thoroughly check all Mono subs of this album) or if a new Master Release is needed for this extremely rare Aftermath title. I would be more than happy to work on this since I have this album in hand….Thanks! Kelley
