The cheesy synth sound dropping in at half time almost ruins this. Yet the overall atmosphere is so strong that it saves the whole thing, and the overall result is still an outstanding track. The first two minutes give me the goose bumps every time I listen to them and I sometimes wonder how great this might have been, had the second half of the track been continued in the same fashion. To me, some kind of a guilty pleasure possibly, but one of the defining trance tracks of '96 at the same time.
