For a humble 12", some care went into this! The sleeve is printed on close shave smooth paper stock with perfect artwork transfer and the vinyl is dead silent, flat and made for DJing. Maybe 120g wax? Like other commenters have noted, the music is pretty special too! A side is proper gridded out Weatherall chug and the B is like some unholy combo of psychedelic minimal house and electro, maybe nodding in the direction of Weatherall's Hypercity mix from 2001.

A Side is just the grooviest version of Enjoy the Silence imaginable. LOVE so much! That's why I had to get this record! :)

I agree with the other reviewer here, the Rhadoo remix is fantastic. As a longtime fan of both Weatherall and Rhadoo, I have to say the Weatherall original version does nothing for me -- it seems unfinished, like a lost demo or something. It's very monotonous but not in a minimal way, more along the lines of an idea that hasn't been fully realized yet. Of course that makes sense considering Weatherall left us all too soon. I was a bit surprised to see Rhadoo remixing this as he's not the first person you'd think of doing a remix for Weatherall since their recent styles are night and day. What transpires is one of Rhadoo's most dynamic tracks he's ever done. I'd argue that it's the least minimal thing Rhadoo has done in his career which is no bad thing. I think most people would be surprised to learn that the Rhadoo remix is the more energetic of the two. Highly recommended.

The Rhadoo Remix is out of this world. Happy to have it in my collection.
