A steady helping of pops and clicks on my copy. And a big scratch on Side C right out of the package.

Edited 3 years agoI’m basically echoing the two comments below. The first track is truly remarkable. It’s my favorite part of the show hands down. And if I’m not mistaken, the Drei track is not split in two parts, but three parts. And I’d be lying to you if I said I didn’t feel their interruption two times. Nevertheless I am not sorry I got this. I’m a compulsive vinyl collector and I buy easily about 200 albums each year and this is probably the purchase that has surprised me the most. I was not expecting to like it so much.

Edited 4 years agoHi there,
This album forces me to make a question to the record-collecting community. I enjoy vinyl, I always have, but I am not an only-vinyl collector. Here we have an album with a 36 minute-long track, which has been obviously split in two parts. I was initially inclined to buying this set in vinyl, but this fact alone makes me see the CD more faithful to the set that is being played. This is far from being the first time I get to this nerdish self questioning. I can think now of the very evident case of Swans' albums in the 2010s. What is your view on this, if any? Thanks!
PS: If any of you have already this set on vinyl and could comment on the split of that "Drei" track, that would be highly appreciated. -
Lesson learned today. A can concert may be 100% different from their latest studio album. I am so addicted to the first track that it’s a struggle for me to play something else from this show. When the guitar and drums lock into a groove, there’s nothing else like it. My favorite purchase in a long time.
