La idea de hacer "Pedrá", surgió de Selu en mayo del 93. Tras estar de acuerdo los cinco musicos, nos pusimos manos a la obra en el estudio en agosto del mismo año. Lo cual quiere decir que ésto no es el último trabajo que ha hecho Extremoduro, sino el primero de "Pedrá"
El objetivo era grabar un disco experimental, (con libertad para hacer lo que te salga de los guevos) con los musicos apropiados, con la dificultad de que cada uno tocaba en un grupo distinto.

Edited 12 years agoThe initial idea was that the project was a independent band from Extremoduro, therefore it´s not a disc of the group as such, but a collective work of the leader, vocalist and guitarist, Robe Iniesta with diverse collaborators and friends proceeding from other bands.
The release was delayed two years from it´s recording in 1993, since, given its experimental condition, no record company agreed to publish it. Finally it was DRO, with whom they had already thrown two works, which did it; but always on the condition that it will be one more disc of Extremoduro instead the first from La Pedrá.
Beyond the common work: it contains only one song of twenty-nine minutes. The song suffers diverse changes of rhythm during its execution, and really it could be cut in several different songs. Also, a very varied instrumentation is used, far from the habitual one on other Extremoduro discs.
