Edited 2 years agoHas anyone matched this to the 2013 Super Deluxe? Are these the exact same tracks culled from CD 4 and 5, the durations do not seem to match. This is the best Alternate release because the others are mirrors of what has been released on CD before in mostly the same order on their respective Super Deluxe sets but this one is a unique collection not duplicated exactly on Super Deluxe CD, is that a fair assessment ?

Really enjoying this. Found it new in a record store for a good price today. Delighted I snapped it up. Exactly as d: interesting, alternate takes. Of course they're not as polished as the ones that made the cut .... but that's what I want out of these alternate albums. Vinyl quality is good too, very quiet. Great mastering too .... great depth and separation. Happy customer here!

Sound quality isn’t anything special on most of the songs and the alternate versions I could take it or leave it. Maybe worth the RSD price but I wouldn’t pay much more than that. You can find all of these songs on Spotify and probably other places, so save your money and buy an excellent pressing of Rumours or their self titled album and stream this release.

I finally opened my copy after sitting on it since it came out. Dead quiet pressing and sounds fantastic. But this "it has to be heavy vinyl shit" has got to stop! The damn LP is severely 'dished'. Flip it over and the center is sticking up off of the platter. STUPID! Record pressing plants need to slow down and give the vinyl time to cool down after they flatten the hot puck of molten goo. Thank God I have a Wayne's Audio stainless Periphery Ring and an HRS ADL Record Weight that sits on the vinyl and flattens it out. If I did not have a ring and weight I would seriously be done with vinyl these days. Pretty much every new slab of vinyl that I purchase is somehow warped, dished or the spindle hole is drilled slightly off-center. I am talking over the past 10 years now of this vinyl revival. But again, GREAT sounding LP!! Dana

Dead quiet pressing. The duet on Never Going Back Again by Buckingham / Nicks is worth this album existing by itself

Edited 4 years agoJust picked this up at a record shop in Aus. Good lord this sounds good! Easily on par with Kevin Grays AAA cut of Rumors. This defintiely sounds AAA. These alt cuts aren't just rejected cuts, they're spectacular. A completely different way to listen to one of my favourite albums. The demo cut of The Chain is one of the best things I've ever heard! So good!

I just got a copy of this (and yes, paid a bit more than I should have), and there's an obvious ripple or warble visible when playing, and you can hear it on many of the tracks. I'm not at all impressed by this, and there's no recourse. Impossible to replace reasonably at the moment. Does anyone else have this issue??

This album would of been less expensive by now if it wasn’t for the viral video of the guy skateboarding singing Dreams. Now the albums back in the charts and people who slept on the original RSD drop want this and the original pressing ASAP
