This pressing sounds and looks amazing! Don’t know of a better way to truly enjoy this Zappa classic! So glad I could get my hands on a copy! -

original mix by zappa in 1969 illustrates the acoustic instruments more than later mixes from the CD era. the horns and percussion sound really fresh and crisp. -
Sounds much better than the original copy I had, the drums in particular sound much better, pretty crisp. -
Edited 4 years agoI bought this to play so I wouldn't wear out my original copy, and holy shit, it sounds amazing, even better than the original! If anyone is still going off about how "colored vinyl sounds worse" just play them this and that myth should easily be dispelled. -

I purchased this so I could retire my excellent sounding 1st press.
It sounds great, I’m hearing details that I hadn’t before. The horns especially shine. Five stars. -
Quiet pressing, quality audiophile packaging, and a pleasant cloudy transparent hot pink color.
I personally prefer some of the older mixes of the album to this newer mix, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy this pressing again. -
Went through two copies, both have a non-fill issue at the end of Little Umbrellas. Nothing major enough that I'd warrant less than 5 stars for this release though as it otherwise sounds incredible.
