As Best of Albums go, this is a pretty damn good one with all the tracks you expect. What I did not expect was how well it was mastered and the pressing, sounds great on my system, nice and quiet with no pops and crackles. -
Edited 10 months agoThis is surprising. The mastering on this record is stellar. It actually sounds good. Much better than my cd. Bass is prevalent. Treble is not overreaching. I had horrible MPO pressings before. This copy is shockingly good.

Edited 4 years agoIt does have VERY slight cracks scattered all over the place (in some tracks almost none) but they don’t interfere with the listening experience, maybe unless you’re listening with headphones (and you really decide to be annoyed - I used to be that way). About the sound, I have compared (with headphones) this one to the CD U2 - The Best Of 1990-2000 & B-Sides and the sound is very similar, but if my ears don’t fool me, I would say this vinyl is richer and fuller than the CD. So my verdict is that this is a decent pressing you can certainly enjoy. -
MPO and Bellman, I don't think you're ever going to get this material any better than you are getting it here. There is only so much that can be fixed in mastering.

No problems with my copy, good inherent volume and continues the trend of quality remastered releases they put out in 2018. -
Anyone an opion about the pressing? I was impressed by the reissues of ATYCLB and Achtung Baby but this Compilation sounds not very good, too compressed and somehow distorted. To be honest I'm very disappointed to get this a not small price. Was really looking forward to have Hold me thrill me and some others on remastered vinyl.
