456/Ephemerol absolutely blew my young teenage mind back in 92..it wasn't alone of course but the memories I have of hearing sonics so incredibly fresh and future are still very strong with this record.

in my top 3 tunes of all time. proto type jungle at its best! and the repress is LUSH! It sounds even better than the original...somehow they've cleaned it up and deepened the sound without losing the vibe. 11/10

Edited 6 years agohmmm so how do I explain this... I heard this record on fabulous good E's in 92! Now was this a distortion?... No! It sounded great on my turntable when I was not enhanced by drugs! But actually, it did sound better in my own mind on drugs! Shimmering! Now fast forward to a 45-year-old who doesn't partake in wreck-cruel-rational drugs (well alcohol but that's another darker kettle of worms lol) but I must say MPS have done a goodun on this job. The shimmering on the mix board duties is in full effect! The sound is brilliant! 45 years on and I am still astounded that I am into this sound! 11 out of 10 is my score for this one record! Sound!

My first purchase from Music Preservation Society and what a joy. Top tune but top quality pressing as well.
