These reviewers are correct: a wonderfully mastered pressing, and though memories can be tricky, sounds better to me than the "Dynaflex" copy I bought new in '72.

Edited 8 months agoI haven't compared this against any other pressing, but this is pretty spectacular. One of the best sounding non-audiophile pressings in my collection. Explodes with energy while retaining a crisp and wide open soundstage. A track or two sound a little on the compressed side, namely Suffragette City, but other tracks like Five Years and Starman sound mind-blowingly good.
Cannot recommend this enough! -
A much different experience than streaming this album. The 24/96 streaming version is terrible, loud and with an audible digital hiss throughout. Personally listened to this album since 1990 on various formats and very happy with this purchase.

Even with the pops and clicks that come with a four-decade old pressing, as in mine, this is a winner! The music jumps off this disc and is as lively, groovy, weird, and awesome as you’d expect this masterpiece to sound. Purchase with enthusiasm!

Yeah, kids. Don't break your piggy bank for old copies of this alb. They are out there by the 100's of thousands. Buyer has the power. Screw these nut job sellers who want more than 20 for this. It's the "I have a rare Beatles album called Rubber Soul and I want 500 US for it" syndrome. Like you're going to sail off into the snowbird sunset in the RV your record collection bought you.

Just wanna jump on the wagon and agree with everyone else. Phenomenal sound, cheap, AND common. No reason not to pick this bad boy up.
-
One of the hugest-sounding LPs that I have ever heard. Unbelievable clarity & seperation combined with bass that makes your windows breathe. Awesome in every respect...

I can vouch for this as everyone else can. One of the best sounding pressings I have in my collection. Pretty good for a free find in a friend's basement.
