What can be said about this stellar 1991 oldskool techno anthem. It came out just the same time as ''Dominator'' track, using cleverly again the same successful recipe, with Lorenzo ''Dominator'' Nash raping, a very catchy noise riff, an excellent beat, and some (typical of the style) Belgian computerized bleeps.
''Mindcontroller'' was one of the biggest, and most well known Belgian style 1991 techno tracks, that everyone knows.
What i love most about those Belgian 1991 oldskool techno tracks, (apart from the fact that sound so professionally made, excellent, heavy, and hard at the same time), is that they use stabs, hoovers or other 1991 noises for the first time in each track, that make them so unique, and original unlike anything else.
This particular track ''Mindcontroller'' uses for the first time, a typo-hoover (but not hoover) noise sound, that hasn't been used before, and very little used after.
The only tracks that come to my mind are ''Oliver Adams - Free The World'' and ''Acen - Trip ii the moon pt.2'' that have borrowed the same sound after ''Mindcontroller' track.
If anyone knows more tracks with that sound after this one, don't hesitate to correct me.

I would be staggered if Daft Punk didnt hear the Acid Base line on this before making Rock'n roll.

This was Patrick Van Kerckhoven's last track before he left 80 Aum Records and set up Wipe-Out.
