Very good pressing. Dynamic and stéréo very large. A real pleasure, specialy on Caribbean queen

On the cd it says track one is 4:05...I'm confused!

Great sounding mastering for these songs. Back when we started to get $5 bargain bin CDs, Arista took it a step further by cheapening their packaging, thus the single sheet front insert rather than a booklet. Thankfully they abandoned this concept soon enough. I recall getting other Arista titles such as Annie Lennox's Diva in the $5 racks and they had full booklets as original. Fun thing to listen for if you never noticed: Caribbean Queen has an uncredited sample of Vincent Price's "Thriller" laugh.

Superb pressing and mastering, except for the trite track ‘Suddenly’, which suffers from severe sibilance - also present in the original pressings. A pretty big stuff up, given the label got everything else right on this release.

I have a German pressing of this album (dark blue front cover) and there's a song called "European Queen" featured on it. I'd never seen the song with that title. I'd seen "African Queen" on a Jive B-side, I believe it is, a USA pressing, but never "European Queen". It's the same background as the better-known "Caribbean Queen" but this take is only 4:50. The German pressing catalog number is Jive 6.25984 AP and also has "LC 7925" in an oval.

Such a great album. I have 2 copies of it with my one copy having a completely different front/back cover. Does anyone have any idea which cover is the original one? I'm just curious.

Very nice sounding album, nice bass and soundstage. The sibilance on "Suddenly'' B5 is a nuisance,

Even though this album has a few tracks that are a bit dull the hits make it terrific anyway.

I have one of the three cbs Sony Japanese pressings not shore which one or if they have different masterings but it sounds epic the base and low notes are so good

This press thumps. Great soundstage and excellent punchiness in the bottom end. Sounds great.
