The "transparent black" variant here is what most people would call "smoke" for the record... clear with wisps of black. -

I have had this for years and just gave it a listen to see if I should get the 10th anniversary pressing since I have seen good things. After listening to this, I'll hold off. It is not perfect, but I do not have any substantial surface noise, no skips or pops, and generally sounds pretty good. -

Bought this hoping it'd be better than my 2013 pressing which ittedly sounds worse than just playing the album on Spotify or on a CD. This 10th anniversary pressing is far and away the best way to listen to this album. High Top Mountain is one of my favorite county albums and I'm happy to finally have such a great sounding copy -

An astounding pressing. Quiet, flat and centered. RKS has done a superb job of the vinyl cutting. I struggle to imagine this album sounding any better than it does here. -
