Had it waaay back in the days when it first came out, the magenta label. Some dickhead got so fucked when i played it, that he broke the vinyl. Almost got into a fight. 😂 -

Hands down the best industrial techno record ever. I gave many the onset of tinnitus playing this one out across the globe and still dropping this in sets 31 years later. A masterpiece! -

Absolutely stunning record from that blink-and-you'd-miss-it moment when, at the height of his powers, Marc Acardipade dented the wider techno consciousness. -
Edited 5 years agoThe Manu Le Malin remix is a harsh, grinding noise-ridden onslaught (therefore very respectful of the original track). Nice!
I tried listening to the Lory D remix but to be honest it kinda pisses me off. It's just too random. It reminds me of when I used to "compose" on a program called Music 2000 on my Playstation 1 and I fucked around making stupid sounds over a 4/4 kick. No real intent or purpose, just making sounds for the sake of it.
The Horrorist remix is really weird. The first three minutes is a full-on vocal track, with Oliver singing in English & German. It's brilliant, but nothing really to do with We Have Arrived. You wonder what the hell is happening, is it the wrong track?
Until, that is, you hear the vocal hook: Wir sind angekommen!
So clever! Then, after the remix "ends", there's a minute reprise with some of the original mix added in.
Gotta love the Horrorist, he always manages to surprise. -

WOW! I heard this track a couple of times back in the 90s. The original I mean. It truly is a "Destroy The Dancefloor" type of track. While it's more into the Hard Techno and not the Hardcore region. This could def make both fan bases go nuts. The original truly takes no prisoners. -

Aphex Twins the Living Legend, but The Mover Remix is far superior imho. I may be FfM-biased,but not P-based ;-) -

my copy is purple label with info written in black marker pen. -
I agree on the review above, especially on the Promo mix but, the Miro mix is amazing!
The rough, hard sounds of the original mixed in a smooth hypnotizing techno trip. The bassline is dropped in a way you might even't notice. The subtile and fluent arrangement makes your thoughts drift far away even if you don't want to. This isn't a defined genre track, but is surely is true mindcore. Miro at his best. -

OK, OK this is a great Aphex record but lets face it, the original, unremixed version has far more power and is THE single most, full-on, hardest and immense track ever made. Not due to speed (you can play it at any) but the thunderous nature of the sounds. It sends shivers down your spine, turns up the corners if your mouth and crushes opposition. Track it down and buy it. No offence Richard but we both know there is no point attempting to remix perfection. Bloody good try though.
