All tracks are great, but for me it's "Step Off". Hardcore stormer with a nice Belgian touch to it. Made to be played on a large system. -

One of the best uplifing hands in the air piano choons to ever be released! Still sounds as good in 2020 as it did back in 1992! If you ain't got this in your collection give ya head a wobble!! -

Feel So Real is in my opinion the epitome of the 1992 piano rave feel-good tune.
It has to be one of my all time faves, if not THE all time favourite of this period.
Slamming bassline, break beat drums, loads of rave-scene club noises and fills, the strings, the piano drops, the quality screaming vocals. I really do think it is a perfect production than encapsulates a whole space and time of the heady, rave days.
Yeah, it is quite commercial (and some would say 'cheesy'), but it has a hard grit to it that provides a great balance and formulates it into a well rounded masterpiece. Ian Bland not only "got" the northern piano club scene, but ran with it like a champion.
I keep hearing a slightly different mix of it being played by some DJ's (such as Stu Allan) which isn't on the album or the Frenzy mix. I don't know what it is or where it comes from, but I'd be interested in finding a copy.
The B-side to this record also delivers some chunky material that always reminds me of the north-west scene of the time, Bowlers, etc. Hardcore, uplifting, well made. I've spent many a happy time listening to this record. -

Lieutenant Commander Data: "Our options have not changed." "We can either respond to the Pakled's demands or not, we can either use force or not"
Commander Riker: "Allowing them access to our computers is a complete breach of security"
Lieutenant Commander Worf: "Then FORCE it must be"!
Has there ever been a better movie / TV sample used in the intro for a dance record as there is on 'Euphoria (Force Mix)'? The rest of the track is of course pure rave mayhem.
'Step Off (Orbit Mix)' is even more deliriously fun - break out your white gloves, glow sticks, fluorescent motorway jacket, and whistle for this one.
'Feel So Real (Frenzy Mix)' though is another level entirely. It is the ultimate feel good dance anthem. Less rave oriented than the other tracks on this release, it is more of an upfront house number, but with rave tendencies of course. With it's joyful piano keys, background orchestral sweeps, and female vs male vocals, this track is guaranteed to have you raving along, on the dance floor, at home, in the car, on the train, at a funeral - any and everywhere! Laurant Garnier fans may care to note his contribution to this tracks success.
If ever you needed a sudden burst of adrenaline, look no further than the tracks on this release.
